About Us

Henry is one of the two founding members of Lewis & Lewis CPAs, PLLC. He graduated from The University of North Carolina at Pembroke in 1973 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting. Henry has been a CPA in public practice for 37 years. He is a native of Lumberton, and is very active in various civic organizations in the County. In addition to being a member of First Baptist Church, St. Albans Masonic Lodge, and a Shriner, he has served on many local boards including The Housing Authority of the City of Lumberton, The Lumberton area Chamber of Commerce, the Mayors Committee For Progress, The University of North Carolina at Pembroke Board of Trustees, and The University of North Carolina at Pembroke Foundation board. Henry was recipient of the University of North Carolina at Pembroke Distinguished Service Award for 2006. Henry is also a member at Holden Beach Chapel and First Baptist Church of Lumberton. He was the past Boy Scout Master of the First Baptist Church Boy Scout Troop. He enjoys golf, fishing, hunting and other outside activities. He is married to Gayle, a retired teacher (Carroll Middle School in Lumberton and Gray's Creek Middle in Hope Mills). Henry and Gayle have been married for 40+ years and love spending time with their family especially their four grandsons!

Hank graduated from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke in May of 2000 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Accounting and a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Management. Hank, a Lumberton native, has worked with Lewis & Lewis CPAs, PLLC since March of 2000. Hank is an avid outdoorsman and is active with several organizations that promote the conservation and responsible use of public lands including the Southern and United Four Wheel Drive Associations, Tread Lightly, The Blue Ribbon Coalition, Ducks Unlimited, and the Coastal Conservation Association of North Carolina. He is also active in the community and with the University of North Carolina at Pembroke, and has most recently been nominated to serve on the Alumni Association Board of Directors beginning January, 2007. Whenever he is outdoors, Hank enjoys trail riding, camping, fishing, and boating. Hank works on Jeeps in his spare time, and is also a hobby metal worker.
